What's new in Grant Frog: A better way to prospect in the redesigned Funder Intelligence, saved reports, advanced reporting, an invitation-only funder filter, and an in-app document viewer.
Funder Intelligence: New Design for Finding Grants and Funders

We redesigned the filters in Funder Intelligence to make it easier to navigate while you're searching for funders and grant opportunities. This also lets us keep adding specific filters going forward — see the new one below.
You now have key sections to drill down on what you need, and you can combine filters from any of the sections to narrow your search even more.
- Funder lets you search by funder name, city, state, application type, and more.
- Funder Giving Interests lets you search funder focus areas and add custom keywords based on your grant needs.
- Grant Recipients lets you reverse search any organization and see what funders are supporting their mission.
- Financials is where you can set a minimum or maximum grants awarded, asset amount, or donor-advised fund options.
Save Your Most-Common Reports

Building the same report for your grants every month? You can now save your most commonly used reports so they're ready in two clicks.
Maybe you need a monthly report on grants submitted, grants due in the next 90 days, or quarterly grant activity for your leadership team or board — you can save all of these now.
How it works: once you've filtered a report the way you need, click + New Report and give it a title. Then access it anytime from the Saved Reports menu. No more rebuilding reports every time you need one.
Advanced Reporting: Your Most Advanced Grant Overviews

If you've ever needed to combine multiple grant statuses and options in a single report, or see several different grant tags together instead of one at a time, you can now do that with Advanced Reporting.
Advanced Reporting gives you a lot more control over your reports — build the exact view you need instead of creating multiple reports for each slice of data. A few examples:
- Grants activity overview for the fiscal year: grants submitted this fiscal year and grants awarded this fiscal year, with different date types (due dates vs. response dates) for each.
- Your leadership and board meeting overview: grants that were submitted or awarded this quarter, plus anything in progress that's due before your next board meeting.
- Your capital campaign and specific programs: everything tagged for the capital campaign, or everything tagged for select programs.
Send us a chat message if you need help setting up a report.
Funder Intelligence: Application Type Filter - Invitation-Only OR Applications Open

You can now filter by Application Policy in Funder Intelligence to see which funders have open applications or are by invitation only.
For invitation-only funders, this isn't meant to rule them out — it's so you know to approach them differently. A little research and a direct call or email can go a long way before you ever submit anything.
Not sure how to approach an invitation-only funder? Read the guide.
In-App PDF and Image Viewer

No more downloading every document just to see what's in it. You can now view PDFs and image files directly in Grant Frog.
Click View on any PDF or image in your Documents Library or a grant's Documents to open it, review it, and get back to work.
